Learn How To Add Fireworks To Your Photos

In this step-by-step tutorial, we’ll show you how to use the photo editor to add firework clipart to your images to create a scene that’s full of spark. Read on to learn how to do it, and then give it a try with your own photos!

Step 1: Open Clipart Menu

Open your image in the photo editor. Next, tap the Clipart icon.

Step 2: Select Firework Clipart

From the list of clipart packages, select the one titled “Light It Up.” Choose your favorite firework from the available options to insert them in your image.

Step 3: Adjust Blending Mode

Once the clipart is placed on your image, you will need to remove the black background. You can do this by tapping the blending modes icon which is set automatically to Normal and selecting Screen from the list.

Step 4: Resize Your Fireworks

Slide the bottom right corner of the clipart to adjust its size, and drag the clipart image to place it.

Step 5: Add More Fireworks

Tap the plus sign and select Clipart. Repeat steps 2 through 4 until you have as many fireworks as you want.

Step 6: Reposition and Lower Opacity of Fireworks

You may want to include some fireworks that are not at full opacity; in this case we have reflected the fireworks in the water. To do this, use the arrow icon in the right hand corner of the clipart to adjust the orientation. Then, lower the opacity of the firework by adjusting the slider.

Step 7: Save and Share Your Work 

Once you are satisfied with your image, tap the check mark to confirm your changes. Save your image and share it!
